Bacha Ba Dichaba turned the tedious task of learning spelling words into a competition that took top spellers from Daveyton to Limpopo.
Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa invited the organisation and its top spellers to take part in its spelling bee, where Ntombifuthi Ngozo from Phakamani Secondary School bagged first place in the Grade Nine category and Bacha Ba Dichaba received the Best Coach award.
Thabang Dichaba, founder of the NPO, thanked everyone for making this trip a reality, including Hollywoodbets for the uniform and the Southern African Association of Youth Clubs.
“I would also like to thank the parents and teachers who trusted Bacha Ba Dichaba with their children.”
