AfriForum makes Colin House safer with a clean up
He highlighted that Afriforum Benoni always aims to assist the community where it can.
The Greater Benoni Child Welfare is grateful to the members of AfriForum Benoni who rolled up their sleeves recently to clear the veld next to Colin House.
Member Kevin van der Mescht said that due to recent criminal activity, members came in numbers with their tools to cut the trees down and instal more light on the property.
“To help protect the children and the team working there, we cleaned up the area so that vagrants can’t hide in the bush and climb the trees to get into the property. For over two years, we have worked hand in hand with the organisation with different projects, including getting them food, fixing broken lights and now the clean-up.”
He highlighted that Afriforum Benoni always aims to assist the community where it can.
