Home-Start SA will be hosting its annual golf day on October 7 to raise funds for the needs and services of the organisation and is encouraging residents and businesses to support it.
The NPO, based in Benoni, assists families who are going through traumatic life events and are struggling to cope with problems that include poverty, crime, abuse, unemployment, depression and other mental health concerns.
The organisation relies on financial donations to continue helping families, and their annual golf day provides an opportunity to not only raise funds but to also deliver their programmes and services in a fun environment.
