Former Miss Benoni aims to clinch two pageant titles
Miss Grand South Africa will be taking place on August 14 and Miss Gauteng on October 16.
Former Miss Benoni Victoria Welthagen (25) is now gunning for the Miss Gauteng and Miss Grand South Africa title.
Covid-19 may have put a halt on some of her plans, but vying for these titles is one she has not stepped away from.
“In Miss Gauteng, I placed second in 2019 and third in 2020,” she explained.
Miss Grand South Africa will be taking place on August 14 and Miss Gauteng on October 16.
“Last year was my first time entering Miss Grand South Africa and I was placed in the top 10,” she explained.
According to Welthagen, Miss Gauteng is about representing the province and working with various charities such as the Role Models Foundation.
“Miss Grand South Africa is an international competition and the winner in each country will go overseas to compete for the Miss Grand International title.
“To vote for me, people can go to the Miss Grand South Africa Facebook page and like my photo.”
Voting for Miss Gauteng is not open yet.
The Van Ryn SH resident said she aims to be a role model to many.
