The McGinns’ love letter to the community

The McGinn family writes:

The definition of ‘thank you’ is used to tell someone you are grateful because they have given to or done something for you.

In our case, the words ‘thank you’ do not sufficiently express what has been done for us as a family.

Our family, friends, community and many of whom were total strangers came together during our time of need, ensuring the love, support and care enabled us to get through the dreadful ordeal we were experiencing from June 3.

From the dedicated paramedics, the incredible doctors and nursing staff at Life The Glynnwood Hospital who work tirelessly, the many acts of kindness, all the phenomenal blessings even as far as overseas and the gorgeous bouquets as sympathy toward our double loss with Margie and Brandon’s tragic death.

To the numerous people who came together and organised the moving tribute for Brandon and Margie Scott on June 25, it was wondrous.

The community who gave of their time on the Friday evening to show their solidarity toward our family, the Scotts are beaming with pride from above.

To each individual who held our family up at such an incredibly traumatic and sad time, we are delighted to be a part of such an amazing community.

Our hearts have reserved a special place for all of you.

To the families suffering hardship, heartbreaking loss and to those on the road to recovery, we hold you all up in prayer.

From our family to yours, THANK YOU for your part in our journey of healing.

Light, love and blessings from the McGinns.
