Daveyton resident Nontsikelelo Pontshi’s love for girl power inspired her to start her NPC called Womenbeyou Mosadi Phila, which focuses on empowering women of all ages, mainly those who are unemployed.

“I feel like there is a lot that women go through and have no one to talk to, which results in them giving up easily, especially with the high rate of unemployment in our country.

“We aim to encourage these women and raise funds to assist them by paying for their entrepreneurial courses so that they can come back from being unemployed to self-employed, and highlight that they have so much potential.”

Pontshi started the NPC with only 10 women and it has since grown. Womenbeyou Mosadi Phila is run on social media platforms.

Recently, the women met for a motivational lunch where they were reminded that they were all queens.
