Badminton tournament takes place in East London
The results for the most recent badminton tournament are in.
The Badminton Open Series, hosted by Border, took place recently in East London.
Results are as follows:
• Ladies singles won by Amy Ackerman (EGBA) with the runner up being Diedré Jordaan (EGBA)
• Ladies doubles won by Amy Ackerman (EGBA) and Diané Olivier (NC)
• Mixed doubles won by Amy Ackerman (EGBA) and Cameron Coetzer (Border)
• Mens singles won by Ruan Snyman (EGBA)
• Mens doubles won by Ruan Snyman (EGBA) and Andries Malan (WP)
• Robert White (EGBA) and Caden Kakora (FS) won the consolation men’s doubles.
Their senior national coach, Stewart Carson, wasn’t able to attend due to being in Nigeria at the time, but he did watch via virtual live streaming and was happy with the results.
