Boksburg football club receives king-sized donation

The football club could not have been more appreciative of the donations it received.

The Liverpool Development Football Club from Boksburg recently received much-needed support from Hungry Lion with the donation of bags and meals for all the players.

According to Denise Neethling, Hungry Lion’s head of communications, PR and CSI, Hungry Lion is committed to supporting the communities it serves and has lived up to this promise by assisting these young football stars.

“To help a child is to shape the future, and we were thrilled to be able to offer assistance to these young sports stars,” said Neethling.

Lucky Muthelo, the chairperson of the football club, thanked Hungry Lion and said, “They really put the smile on the players’ faces.”

“We believe that all our children need is a little help, a little love, a little hope and someone who believes in them, and we are thrilled to bring hope and joy to these youngsters,” Neethling concluded.
