BFS weekend operation leads to three arrests

Investigation continues in all cases.

A recent weekend operation for officers of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) led to three arrests and the recovery of two motor vehicles.

“Officers doing routine patrols on High Road, Brakpan, were stopped by ambulance personnel and given a description of suspects who had just committed an assault and housebreaking in the vicinity,” said BFS WO Grant Giblin.

“The officers proceeded to scout the area and came across two suspects fitting the description and later identified by the complainant.

“The suspects were arrested and detained at the Brakpan SAPS.”
