Benoni Lions Club lends a helping hand to the twins with cerebral palsy

This comes after their article featured on the City Times edition of April 23 on page three.

The Benoni Lions Club recently donated clothes to twins Mason and Madison Jacobs (4).

This comes after their article featured on the City Times edition of April 23 on page three.

The club’s president, Tina Strachan, contacted the City Times as the club was willing to assist where they can.

She said the article about the twins and how the family struggles brought them to tears.

“We were happy to help and donated winter clothing to the children,” she said.

“It is for this purpose that we serve in our community and it is only with the generosity of the public and the help of your publication that we can continue the work we take so much satisfaction from.”

The Northmead twins were diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which affects their muscles, so neither can walk on their own.

The twins’ mother, Chanal Rossouw, was happy and grateful for the donations.

Anyone who would like to donate or find out more information about the twins can visit the Facebook Page: Madison & Mason Twins with Cerebral Palsy and Hemiplegia.
