Development riders place well at recent event

Development horse riders based at Sunny Park stables in Jatniel, Benoni, are all performing well, according to Elize Strydom social media liaison for Sunny Park.

“We have four development riders here at Sunny Park,” she said.
“They are each sponsored a horse to build a partnership and jump with.
“In some instances, it is horses sponsored by clients and in some instances, they are sponsored by Sunny Park.”
Their lessons are also sponsored by Nicola Sime Riley and with show-holding bodies, these venues assist with reduction and often sponsorship of entry fees.
“These guys work hard and get to shine in the ring,” she said.

“Just recently we attended a show at Fourways Riding Centre where Warrick Sithole, who is also our stable manager, and Bongani Masiya competed in the 80cm classes.
“Warrick and his horse, Hamley, placed second and Bongani with his horse, Harry, also placed well.”
