Honour a healthcare worker this month of love

Let us know about memorable service and interactions you have had with local healthcare workers

The City Times will be paying tribute to healthcare workers in February, the month of love, and we invite our readers to do the same.

Their bravery in the face of Covid-19 is commendable, considering the impact the disease has had on our healthcare system and families across the country.

Let’s not forget, hospital staff are also still dealing with the day-to-day patient care of those who are seriously ill with other diseases and conditions.

Send your stories to say thank you to a healthcare worker who has made a difference in your life during Covid-19:

• Have you been in hospital (with Covid-19 or any other illness) and had an exceptional experience of staff who cared for you?

• Has a staff member at your local general practitioner’s office gone above and beyond in your time of need.

• Have you had a wonderful experience with the care a loved one received at Hospice East Rand?

• Have you had to get emergency medical help at home and received exceptional service from attending paramedics?

• Would you like to simply say thanks to all the unsung heroes of our hospital wards and doctor’s rooms?

• Have your local clinic staff delivered great service?

Send your letters – and include healthcare workers’ full names and even photographs, if possible – to benonicitytimes@caxton.co.za
