Two found with drugs worth R70 000 in Actonville

The drugs were confiscated and the two men were arrested.

Two men, aged 26 and 73, were arrested for dealing in drugs on November 26 at a flat in Actonville.

Actonville SAPS spokesperson Capt Pheello Mothapo said they received a tip-off about six men dealing in drugs at the flat. Police then followed up on the information.

“When police searched the house, they found crystal methamphetamine (tik), CAT and dagga estimated to the value of R70 000 and an undisclosed amount of cash,” said Mothapo.

The drugs were confiscated and the two men were arrested.

Mothapo said the community is encouraged to provide the police with information to help them fight crime.
