Keen to begin cricket

On October 17, the newly implemented Old Benonians Cricket team held registrations at the Old Bens Football Club.

Jeandre Boshoff (8) came all the way from Airfield to register for the team, standing with chairperson Shaun Kruger.

A total of 120 children registered on October 2020 and chairperson Shaun Kruger is very excited for what is to come.

“I am very pleased by the number of player registrations and thankful that cricket can start again in the near future. All the boys are eagerly looking forward to begin practice and get back out on our newly maintained field.”

Trials will be held on November 7 and soon thereafter teams will be announced.
