On September 25, Margaret Pipe, or Nanna Sweetheart as her family calls her, celebrated her 104th birthday.
Margaret was born in Wells, Norfolk, England, in 1916 and has had a very busy life, writing and publishing a poetry book, being a part of a charity singing group called the Jolly Joy Bells, painting all throughout her 20s late into her life and taking care of her three children: Malcolm and Jennifer Pipe and Collean Breed.

She was married to Robert ‘Bob’ Pipe for 69 years.
He died 10 years ago, aged 92.
Her family held a little party in her honour at the Blessings Home, where Nanna now resides, having some cake and tea.

A very special memory for Margaret was on her 100th birthday, receiving a letter from the Queen of England that read: “I am so pleased to know you are celebrating your 100th on September 25, 2016. I send my congratulations and best wishes to you on such a special occasion.”
