BCC Bowls supports Apricot Tree

Giving and not expecting anything in return builds a community.

The Benoni Country Club (BCC) Bowls team hosted a morning fund-raiser for the Apricot Tree recently.

The women’s Knit and Gin School, run by Marge Clinton, as well as the Men’s Whiskey School, run by Mark Hardman, joined in to help raise the funds.

All proceeds raised by the members of BCC Bowls were handed over to Sabrina Miles of Apricot Tree by Kayla Stopforth of BCC, who initiated the event.

“The members generously joined in,” explained Terence Stopforth, member of BCC Bowls.

“A big thanks to the BCC social committee of Leith Madden and Louise Lottering for their assistance on the day.”
