Elderly at Pauline Davis Court receive donations
Residents who would like to donate towards the elderly can contact the caretaker Patricia Padayashie on 072 295 2480.
The elderly from Pauline Davis Court have been relaying on private donations to help them get by during this trying time.
Ward 73 councilor Sinethemba Matiwane recently donated 86 food packs to the residents.
“It has been hard for the elderly as most of the pension money they receive goes towards paying the rent,” said Matiwane.
Other private organisations, churches and NPO’s have come on board to assist where they can.

The Church of Scientology had also helped to sanitize the faciliy, including handing out masks and sanitizer to the residents.
The Guardians charity shop is also open and all money made goes towards food hampers for those in need.
