Celebrities show their support for Benoni charities

You have until June 16 to help these celebrities and charities.

Celebrities and Benonians, Chanley Wong and Ashish Gangapersad are proud to be ambassadors for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation of South Africa (PCMFSA) charity drive, and would like you to get involved too.

PCMFSA founded the #strongtogether celebrity challenge campaign where celebrities each choose a charity and host drives to support them.

#strongtogether is a symbol of unity and solidarity encouraged by Monaco’s sovereign family Prince Albert II, who contracted and recovered from the coronavirus in March this year.

Chanley Wong:

Charity: The Greater Benoni Child Welfare.

The beaut refers to herself as a mix-masala, seeing as she is mixed race and able to speak both English and Afrikaans.

She is a television presenter whose journey started in 2013.

She was a presenter on eTV’s Sistahood, Frenzy and Craze World Live after they held a nationwide auditioning process.

In 2016, Chanley was nominated for two consecutive years at the South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas)) for Best Television Presenter category.

She is the youngest individual to ever be nominated.

She visited The Greater Benoni Child Welfare recently to give them Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation masks and hand sanitisers, as well as some clothes and muffins.

But the television presenter is not the only celebrity who decided that charity starts at home.

Ashish Gangapersad:
