Police on manhunt for Actonville murder suspects

The motive of the killing is unknown.

The Gauteng police are investigating a murder case after three men were shot dead on March 9 at Lancaster Road, Actonville, around 5.50pm.

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said it is alleged that the three victims were travelling from Actonville towards Brakpan in a black Audi A4.

“According to a witness, when the Audi A4 approached the bridge in Lancaster road, another white/silver Audi and a BMW X5 with four occupants stopped next to the black Audi,” said Sekele.

“Then one of the men in the front passenger seat started shooting at the black Audi A4 then the other three men came out of the vehicle and started shooting also.”

Sekele said they shot at the three victims and drove off.

The three men were certified dead on the scene.

The motive of the killing is unknown.

A case of murder was opened at the Actonville SAPS, however, the case has been handed over to the Gauteng police.
