Help sexually assaulted woman find justice

Police don’t have the identity kit of the third suspect.

The Benoni SAPS Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Investigations Unit is searching for three men in connection to a rape case.

The case was opened at the Daveyton SAPS on October 25, 2017.

Spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said the victim alleges that she took a taxi from the mall and when the taxi dropped her and another passenger off, the passenger grabbed her handbag and ran into a grave yard.

“As she was screaming for help, three men came to her and told her not to cry as they are from the CPF and they will assist her,” said Sekele.

“The victim and the three men went to the grave yard. As they were walking they started swearing and hitting her, then they raped her.”

It is alleged that the men were carrying okapi knives.

Police don’t have the identity kit of the third suspect.
