Three arrested for drug possession in Actonville

The case was opened at the Actonville Police Station.

Three men aged between 30 and 40 years old were arrested for being in possession of drugs on January 16 in Actonville.

Actonville SAPS spokesperson Sgt Godin Nyathi said the EMPD Tracing Team received information about the alleged drug dealers during a crime prevention operation in the area.

“They then followed up on the information and raided Mayet Drive and Pillay Street, which is commonly known for drug dealings,” said Nyathi.

“During the raid, the three men were found in possession of different drugs ranging from Cat (methcathinone), Mandrax and rocks, with a street value of R6 000.”

The case was opened at the Actonville Police Station.
