Dan Triangle karatekas receive awards
Some of the categories include attendance, hard training, motivation, dedication and Budo Spirit.
Members of the Dan Triangle Benoni club, led by sensei Chris Anthony, won floating trophies last year at their annual prize-giving.
Nicholas de Vaux and Marco Companerut won sports stars of the year and Aubrey Shai won sportsman of the year.

Others from the Benoni club that won trophies include Dean Markram, Nathan Oosthuizen, Diaan du Plooy, Cade Horn, Gianluca del Grosso, Matthew Philipps, Sothando Tshilika, Willie Oosthuizen, Lesego Shai, Michael Conroy, Sky Kelly and Lusanda Shai.
