Santa visits Western Extension

The evening was filled with Christmas carols in candlelight.

Santa visited Western Extension on December 7 in Russel Street

He drove down the road in a bakkie with Christmas decorations on it and was escorted by CPF members and cyclists.

His arrival brought smiles to all the children’s faces who waited for him to arrive. Marcel Volschenk (8) spent a good few minutes telling Santa what he would like for Christmas and how he had been a good boy, all he wanted from Christmas was a Lego set.

The Lions Club of Benoni van Rhyn and Benoryn branch sold their Christmas cakes and handmade Christmas cards on the day.
