Two suspects wanted for Rynfield business robbery

No arrests have been made.

Police are investigating a case of business robbery after a salon, on Miles Sharp Street, Rynfield, was robbed on December 9 at around 11.30am.

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said according to the complainant, he was at the salon with his father, two female and one male customers.

“While he was cutting the male customer’s hair, two armed men walked into the business and threatened them to keep quiet,” said Sekele.

“The two men forced them all inside the bathroom and locked it.”

The alleged robbers fled with three cellphones, a wallet and an undisclosed amount of money.

No arrests have been made.

Sekele said they urge business owners to take extra safety measures as it is the festive season and criminals want to make quick cash.
