A Noteworthy 2020 planned
Cantare Jubiloso Choir will have auditions for new members on January 18 between 8am and 3pm, and all interested persons must please contact Lanie to book a time slot.
It was a successful 2019 for Benoni’s Cantare Jubiloso after their latest Christmas Songs of Praise Concert November last year, in conjunction with Noteworthy Events™.
Conducted by Richard and Sue Cock, the partnership concert between the Noteworthy Concert Orchestra and Cantare Jubiloso Choir (well known to all in Benoni), under leadership of Gideon Els and Lanie Coetzer, saw a full house that was sold out six weeks in advance.

The crowd looked forward to “Santa’s Singers”, a acapella group and the following soloists; Serenade by Erin Beck (soprano), Loriska Bubb (soprano), Lanie Coetzer (mezzo soprano) and Hanneli Vivier (alto).
“With all our concerts, Noteworthy Events™ aims to inspire through music. Christmas Songs of Praise 2019 received a standing ovation and enormous acclaim from a very appreciative audience and we are so humbled by all the positive feedback we received,” said Lanie and Gideon.
The duo said they are looking forward to an exciting 2020 with some of the following concerts at the Gereformeerde Kerk Benoni:
• Strictly Broadway meets Queen.
• Christmas Songs of Praise 2020.
