After officially “switching on” the spectacular Garden of Lights at Emperors Palace’s five-star D’oreale Grande Hotel on November 28, award-winning South African songstress Zahara (middle) of Little Falls took a stroll through the gardens to see what guests can expect when visiting this mesmerising wonderland this year. Award-winning South African singer and songwriter Zahara, who recently signed a five-year deal to be the resident entertainer at Emperors Palace, had the honour of officially “switching on” the enthralling Garden of Lights in the garden of the five-star D’oreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace on November 28.
The Garden of Lights, which has been presented at Emperors Palace for the past 12 years, currently offers over 30km of fairy lights and decorations for visitors to enjoy.
“Over the years, the Garden of Lights has celebrated the festive season with over 1.5 million visitors who come to enjoy a fantastic range of family-friendly activities,” said Clive Tavener, general manager at Emperors Palace.
“This year promises to be even better as we continue the tradition of bringing countless families together at this very special festive season celebration.”

The gates are open from 7pm to 10pm (last entry at 9.30pm), weather permitting.
In the event of overcast and rainy weather, ticketholders will be contacted via SMS to move their booking.
