The Crystal Park SAPS have opened an inquest docket after the decomposed body of a woman was discovered in an open veld near Springs Road in Petit, on November 5.
The SAPS spokesperson, Sgt Lerato Mopeli, said the body was discovered by recyclers who were busy recycling in the open veld.

“The recyclers saw a bag in the veld. They opened it and found the body inside,” said Mopeli.
“The police were contacted.”
Molepi said upon further investigations it was discovered that the person has been dead for a few months.
The woman is believed to be in her early 30’s. She was wearing a pink dress and a wig.
