Three alleged drug dealers were put behind bars on October 26 when the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) drug enforcement unit officers found the three in possession of rock, khat and crystal meth worth a street value of approximately R6 680.
“The officers spotted the drug dealers by their suspicious actions, before thorough searches were conducted,” said EMPD spokesperson, Kobeli Mokheseng.

Two suspects (27 and 30), caught on Skimmer Road in Crystal Park, were found with seven pieces of rock, two medium plastics containing khat, two ziplocks of crystal meth valued at R6 100 and R280.
“A 48-year old man found on Sentrust Street with one ziplock of crystal meth valued at R300, was picked up with the rest and taken to the Crystal Park Police Station where they were all charged with possession and dealing in illicit substance.”
