Miss Benoni first princess Lerato Tau won not only the title, but also the hearts of Benonians when she won the People’s Choice Award.

The BA law learner said she is no stranger to the pageant world.
“I won Miss Teen Benoni in 2017,” she said.
“I then started the Mr and Miss Daveyton to help the youngsters build their confidence.”
The Mr and Miss Daveyton pageant will take place on November 30.
“I had so much fun in the Miss Benoni pageant, and I would definitely try it out again.
“I did all I could to prepare for this pageant, but I know everything happens in God’s time.”
The 19-year-old intends on opening a modelling agency.
“I am a modelling coach and will continue teaching youngsters,” she said.
“Always believe in yourself. Never let people distract you from your dreams.
“Regardless of not attaining the Miss Benoni title, still I rise.”
