Community swimming pools now open

“The spring/summer season brings with it the need to dip into a crystal clear pool for a splish splash.

The Ekurhuleni metro community swimming pools are ready to welcome residents for the beginning of the swimming season, which started on September 1.

“As such, the metro’s pools have been rehabilitated and renovated while others are being built from scratch to prepare for the swimming season,” said spokesperson of the Ekurhuleni metros spokesperson Themba Gadebe.

In April, executive mayor Mzwandile Masina officially handed over a swimming pool to the community of Eden Park; meanwhile the Duduza swimming pool is still under construction.
