The Benoni Police shared steps protocol for reporting complaints:
• Call 10111, give precise details, name, location and crime in progress and get a reference number.

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said for general inquiries regarding sector policing, general concerns or complaints can be communicated to the relevant sector commander during office hours.
“Contact the Vispol commander, Det commander and Station commander only after the above procedure were done and absolutely no service assistance was rendered,” said Sekele.
Residents should take note that there is a suggestion box placed at Benoni SAPS Client Service Centre for any complaints or compliments related to the service.
