LifeLine’s charity shop gets a new coat of paint #67MinutesforMandelaDay #CaxtonCares

Staff got their hands dirty as some painted the inside of the shop, while others gave the furniture a fresh coat of paint.

Radiometer Medical, based in Spartan, spent their 67 Minutes for Mandela Day revamping the charity store at LifeLine Ekurhuleni.

Nomagugu Mukadah, organiser of the event, said they chose to support LifeLine as its charity shop’s proceeds go towards the centre’s operations and to victims of intimate partner violence.

“Due to the high prevalence of violence against women in South Africa, our company seeks to support efforts which address this issue.

“It is an ongoing public health issue, yet the prevalence of victims of violence in emergency rooms is not widely documented.”
