Bursaries at Alika Training Academy offered to youth

Qualified candidates will receive a stipend of R2 000 each per month for the duration of the course and a National Higher Certificate will be awarded to students on completion of the course.

Alika Training Academy has been offering different bursaries to uplift and empower the youth with skills for the past five years and it is now offering the youth of Benoni an empowering learnership programme for the 2019 to 2020 season, with applications closing on June 15 at 5pm.

The supply chain management course is for 12 months and the following is required:

•Must have a matric certificate

•Between the ages of 18 to 25

•Reside in Ekurhuleni municipality (First priority will be given to youth from Benoni and surrounding locations.)

•Open to all South African youth.

Qualified candidates will receive a stipend of R2 000 each per month for the duration of the course and a National Higher Certificate will be awarded to students on completion of the course.

Alika Training Academy is an accredited training service provider by Transport Education Training Authority No. TETA16-683 and Labour Department No 688, training people in lifting/earthmoving machinery and skills training courses, such as OHS, basic first aid, basic freighting, HIV/Aids awareness at a workplace, supply-chain management national certificate, mobile cranes, tower cranes, forklifts, reach starkers, etc.
