The Tambo Memorial Baby Pack Network (Benoni) invites the public to be part of a fund-raiser, ‘Let’s do lunch and paint with a purpose’, on February 23.
The event will be held at 61 Eighth Avenue, Northmead, from noon to 3pm.
Attendees will be taught on how to paint their own masterpieces and the fee of R350 includes canvas, art supplies, welcome drinks and lunch.

The network distributes baby packs at the Tambo Memorial Hospital, as one of the outreach programmes by the Christ Community Church, in Northmead.
“This initiative is in response to a dire need, which has resulted in babies going home wrapped in newspapers and plastic bags,” said Christa Craddock, of the Christ Community Church.
The volunteers delivery about 50 packs weekly.
