The SPCA cheer fund is back

The Benoni SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund is in full swing and donations, as per Benoni SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore, are wide open to the public.
This year Finnemore says donations opened in early November.
However, with only a handful of donations received, the current tally of funds stands at R1400.
Those responsible for the tally are:
• Carol (R500)
• Joanna (R200)
• D Wright (R200)
• M Goode (R500)

“The funds collected go towards our veterinary bills and other expenses such as our operational costs,” explained Finnemore.
“Pet food is always welcome, but to stay afloat cash donations are needed.”
To be part of the Benoni SPCA Cheer Fund, simply visit or contact the SPCA with your donation, write your name, amount donated and message (optional) in the Cheer Fund book and keep an eye on the City Times to see your name appear on our platforms.
