From the dusty streets of North West to the shiny streets of Joburg, meet jazz artist turned gospel artist, PK Fusion.

PK (real name Kagiso Katlego Baas) is an African gospel artist whose love of music is inspired by jazz. PK recently released his new single, Boitumelo, following his debut album, O Mohau, which was released in 2008.

The 30-year-old, who has often been referred to as a musical genius by his peers, is not afraid to explore different sounds and challenges. He is also the founder of a band called TPKM (The Pastors’ Kids Movement). The band consists of pastors’ kids.

PK Fusion studied sound engineering in Johannesburg and music theory in Mahikeng.

In our latest segment of Young and Upcoming we caught up with PK and found out more on what makes him tick and if he has finally found love.
