The lowdown on Kit Kat

According to CEO Riaz Gani, the group has already begun social initiatives by upliftment of the community and job creation.

Kit Kat Cash and Carry is set to open on Friday (November 23) in the Benoni CBD (Princes Avenue and Oos Street).

Here’s the lowdown on the group and what you can expect:

• The mall will be known as the Kit Kat Plaza Benoni.

• Line stores will include a GP, dentist, optometrist and possible pharmacy.

• A shoe store will also be available and Kit Kat group CEO Riaz Gani says the mall will be mixing the new with the familiar

• Rebel Food @ Kit Kat will be opening on the premises (and closing down the old premises across the street). The store promises to be strictly Halaal and approved by Halaal society institutions. Gani said it is imperative to note that only the Rebel Food stores that are affiliated with Kit Kat are Halaal.

• Two-hundred-and-fifty employees will be at your service inside the Kit Kat store.

• With three other stores spread across Pretoria and Soweto, the group will be making its debut in Ekurhuleni.

• Secured parking for around 1 000 vehicles.

• Convenience plays the tune as the cash and carry will include a bakery, butchery, gardening and hardware (to name a few) departments.

“We believe end consumers will save a fortune with Kit Kat,” said Gani.

“Our competitive prices are a simplistic way of saying we save people money and we are a complete one-stop shop, giving value for money.

“We invite the public to test us out for monthly shopping bill savings.”
