Awards to remember

Old Bens Football Club recently had their annual prize-giving for the 2018 winter football season with a fantastic turnout, making it a night to remember.

Special awards went to:

Coach of the Year: Tanya Schafer (u-6 Division Three)

Referee of the Year: Jadon Brits

Goalkeeper of the Year: Keagan Turner (u-17 and Seniors Division Three).

 

Old Bens’ Goalkeeper of the Year is Keagan Turner. He is seen with Clinton Nourse (chairman).

U-11 Promotion: Josh Hurst

U-11 Division One: Thabang Sibiya

U-11 Division Three: Thabo Mbango

U-12 Division One: Emihle Kenke

U-13 Division One: Ofentse Phaladi

U-15 Promotion Gold: Jadon Brits

U-15 Promotion Blue: Keenan Prinsloo

U-17 Promotion: Jamie Gouden

U-17 Super League: Tshepo Mnika

U-6 Division Three: Diego Mendonca

U-7 Division One: Skyla Coutinho

U-7 Division Three: Calvin Knight

U-8 Division Two: Devon Kerr

U-9 Division One: JP Samouilhan

Seniors prize winners:

• First team:

Sportsman of the Year: Melosi Ndlovu

Player of the Year: Mkululeko Makubo

Top goalscorer: Themba Vilakazi

Most consistent: Teboho Mkwanazi

• Reserves:

Sportsman of the Year: Peter Ndaba

Player of the Year: Sheldon Lloyd

Top goalscorer: James Brough

Most consistent: Iain Clarke.
