Benoni Lions Club’s jumble sale a success

The club jumble sale is on the last Saturday of every month.

The Benoni Lions Club had their monthly jumble sale at their clubhouse in Howard Avenue on September 29.

The club jumble sale is on the last Saturday of every month.

The club made R2 450 on the day.

Club president Diane Crompton said they appreciate the support from the community and from their regular helpers who make the jumble sale possible.

The club welcomes any donation of clean clothing (adult or children) that’s in good condition, kitchenware, electric items, children toys, jewellery, blankets, linen and hearing aids will be well received by the Benoni Lions Club.

“We also welcome any donation of books in good condition for our monthly book sale at the Mall@Carnival,” said Crompton.

The book sale is held every second Friday, Saturday and last Sunday of the month.
