Hospice East Rand plans to have a fun-filled eventful end to the year with several events that the public are welcome to attend.
• Hospice East Rand Portuguese Feast
Donate R100 in support of Hospice East Rand, and you will be entered into a draw to win a three-course Portuguese feast and a cooking demonstration for 10 people, with drinks included, at Mimi Jardim’s Cooking School in Edenvale on October 26.

The prize draw will take place on October 19 and winners will be notified via phone and email.
• Musical Mathilda, based on the story by Roald Dahl.
The musical will take place at Montecasino on October 21 and the bus departs from Hospice (218 Kemston Avenue, Western Extension) at 3pm for the 6pm show.
Ticket and transport are R395.
• Join Hospice East Rand on a trip to Wyndford Farm, Fouriesburg, Free State from November 11 to 16.
Sharing rate per person is R7 880 and single rate is R9 420.
There are only 20 places available and passports will be required for the day trip to Lesotho only.
Tourists can expect to visit the town of Clarens, Noah’s Cheese, Bald Ibis Winery, Lesotho Highlands Water Project, Makoadi Angora Farm, Highland Essential Oils, The Mud Studio and Cave Church and Ionia Cherry Farm.
