Putfontein SAPS arrests two in possession of suspected stolen goods

The duo is detained at the Daveyton Police Station and will appear in court soon.

Two suspects were arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen goods on September 7 at Bapies squatter camp near Mayfield.

Putfontein SAPS spokesperson Constable Justice Ramaube said police made the arrest after they received an unsatisfactory explanation from the two men.

“It was discovered that the geyser and solar glass tubes were stolen from a construction site in Mayfield,” said Ramaube.

The two men were arrested by Constable Casey Matshete and Constable Archiebolt Skosana.

The duo is detained at the Daveyton Police Station and will appear in court soon.
