Watch: Viking boat all set to sail on Homestead Dam come September 1

Braving the cold this past weekend, the City Times covered the test launch of Daniel Bungay’s Viking boat at Homestead Dam.

About seven weeks ago, the Farrarmere resident decided he wanted to build a boat.

Through hard work and determination, the boat is now complete.

Bungay said: “It’s not bad for a first attempt and I’m looking forward to what it does.” Bungay has named the boat The Nordic Sea.
