Samukelo Esihle Community Project, in conjunction with Mayfield Square, hosted a charity event to serve the community of Daveyton.
The event was held at Mayfield Square on July 18.
The objective of the event was for different stakeholders to spend their 67 minutes educating the community about disabilities and to show appreciation to the elderly.
Samukelo Tshabalala, founder of Samukelo Esihle Community Project, said they decided to give back to the elders because most of the time elderly people are not being taken care off.
Wheelchairs, blankets, walkers, walking sticks, crutches and care packs were donated to the underprivileged disabled people in Daveyton.
The community members were also given soup and bread.
