Donate to beleaguered Child Welfare

Due to the Greater Benoni Child Welfare not receiving its subsidy from the Department of Social Development for the past two months, local business owner Julie Venner is collecting donations for the organisation.

The public can donate items such as toiletries, sanitary pads, sugar, tea, mielie meal and cleaning supplies.

Donations can be dropped off at the Grapes Pub and Restaurant in Russell Street, Western Extension, anytime after 10am.
