Protea is ready to knock your socks off with their Pocahontas production.

The Musical Adventures of Pocahontas will open on Friday (May 25) at Tom Newby School and will run every weekend until June 10.
The shows will take place every Friday at 7.30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.
“The cast and crew, who range from six years to 45, have been working extremely hard over the past four months,” said vice-chairman and one of the directors of the show Michael Brownhill.
“We are all very excited to present this age-old tale of the native who falls in love with a sailor who’s come to dig up gold in her village.
“I am extremely proud of all involved and can’t wait to show Benoni the talent we have.”

Ticket prices are R80 (adult) and R50 (pensioners and under 12’s).
Own food and drinks are welcome, but snacks and cold drinks are also on sale at the venue.
