A case of armed robbery has been opened at the Benoni SAPS after a man was robbed at a car wash on Main Road, Lakefield.
The incident occurred on April 9 around 3.15pm.

Ekurhuleni Central Cluster head of police spokesperson Lt Col Mack Mngomezulu said the 18-year-old victim alleges that after parking his vehicle at the car wash he was approached by an unknown man.
“The man pointed at him with a firearm and demanded his watch and cash,” said Mngomezulu.
“The victim had no money and handed his watch to the alleged suspect.”
The suspect fled in white VW Polo TSI.
It is unclear how many suspects were involved in the incident.
No arrests were made, police are investigating.
