Well, the band Oh! Calamity has grabbed this opportunity with both hands and now its four members, namely Brandon Holz (guitar), Luka de Wet (drums), Reuben Pieterse (vocals) and Josi Goncalves (bass guitar) will be partying it up with you.

Oh! Calamity is a young pop act from Johannesburg that has set out to show the world what the new generation of South African rock is capable of.

The band comprises school friends with a similar passion and taste in music, who joined forces to produce pop-rock music.

Oh! Calamity was formed in 2015, on the whim of two best friends, Holz and de Wet, who decided to convince one of the most rebellious boys at their school, Goncalves, to leave the group he was with and switch from guitar to bass.

Still feeling incomplete, the three visited several places in search of a singer, whom they found at a Valiant Swart gig in Pretoria.

The young teenage musicians also made their debut with a live performance at the Oppikoppi Festival in 2017

The youngsters also signed up with the top independent record label, Just Music.

Make sure you are at The Festival to listen to and see these talented musicians perform.

Tickets for The Festival can be bought at St Dunstan’s College, the Benoni City Times and Oasis Water in the Oakfields and Rynfield shopping centres for R100 per person from March 1 to March 31.

If you miss that, you can grab your tickets for R200 from April until 11 May.

And if you miss those sales, then the festival still has your back on the day – you do not need to suffer from FOMO because tickets will be available at the gate for R300.

If you want VIP tickets, they are on sale for R400 each but VIP tickets will not available for sale on the day of The Festival at the gate.

Do not miss out on partying with Aidin Caye, TiMO ODV, Chunda Munki, Voltrex, DJ Euphonik, Zolani Mahola, Oh! Calamity and Rubber Duc.
