The Benoni SPCA has introduced a new way for people to donate funds.

Shelley Owens, the society’s chairperson, said the new QR code will allow community members to make fast, hassle-free donations.
“This is exclusive to Benoni,” she said.
She said the QR code is available on the SPCA’s Facebook page.
Benonians can download the SnapScan app and link it to any account at any bank.
Donators simply scan the SPCA’s QR code and choose how much they would like to donate.
The app is free and can be used at over 30 000 merchants across South Africa.
