It’s none other than Caxton Radio Benoni. Your favourite local newspaper and local news website will, within the next few weeks, morph into an online streaming component – a first for Caxton Local Media.
We won’t stop generating and sharing your fix of local, national and international news, but will instead offer you so, so much more.
How will it work?
Well, it’s as simple as click and listen. The Benoni City Times’ online offering (www.benonicitytimes. co.za) will have an option for you to stream news and music to your heart’s content.
Partnering with well-known and much-loved local radio jock Paul Rotherham, there will be a music compilation stretching across many decades.
But, that’s not all. The Benoni City Times newsroom will be hard at work to gather and package local content by means of audio.

Many of your favourite regular features in the City Times will remain, but we will take a closer listen at the heartbeat of the town and residents’ experiences and interactions with the news we report on.
