Benonians’ donations for animals slow down
There is only one week left to donate to the annual Benoni SPCA Cheer Fund and have your donation published in the City Times.
At the time of our last publication on December 21, the fund stood at R24 879.20.
From December 22 to date (January 8) the SPCA has only received a further four donations.
Thank you to the following people:
• Janet (R1 000). In memory of Shaggy Max, Caesch Kayla and Jackson.
• David and Elaine (100kg of dog and cat food) – from the Wrights and friends.
• Rose Estates (R500).
• Sasha (R700).
The Cheer Fund now stands at R27 079.20.
The Cheer Fund will officially close on January 14 so any contributors can email sheinar@caxton.co.za during the rest of January with their name, surname and amount donated.
